Whenever we need to move, there's always a big fuss and a lot of cleaning to do. Since the school's giving up our old apartment back to the renting agent, we need to clean it until it's spotless. Sofia (school's accountant/student's welfare manager) said she'll be here to inspect the apartments herself so we had no choice but to really clean everything up. We decided to start cleaning the apartment few days ahead just to give ourselves more time to do the job. We divided the jobs among ourselves, and I got the bathroom, which is a hell of a place to clean. My job was simple, scrub the mold out from the shower area. It was a good workout albeit the chemical agent was stinging my nose.
And here comes the big moving day. The big pain in the ass about moving is that you need to pack everything up just to unpack it again later. Since gonna move everything, might as well clean everything I move at the same time. Threw everything into the washing machine and waited for it to dry. We did some last minute cleaning in the apartment just before we move out, and that lucky bastard sitting over there in the pic didn't have to clean anything, cuz he need to go to school for a flight during the move, and to top that he even sat there doing nothing when we were busy moving, thanks for nothing Chin.
The new room was a nightmare. Before we moved in Sofia promised us that the room gonna be squeaky clean since the "professional cleaners" gonna do the job for us. Instead of the squeaky clean room we were promised, we got a room that is "clean" in the surface, but when we moved things around a lil, it was worse than our old room before we cleaned it. The kitchen cupboard is full of oil on the inside, belongings of the previous tenants are everywhere on the floor and living room, the blinds in my room are all scattered around and broken, and the list goes on. In the end we need to clean everything from scratch, again. This time, Chin decided to be useful and helped vacuum our living room XD.
Since he was away when we were picking the room, I got the chance of picking the better room out of the 2, the one with 2 windows, which provides better ventilation. In the end, I have to go to my old apartment and scavenge some blinds parts and some light bulbs just to fix my new room's. But in the end, it's all worth it, since I'll be having my own private space from now, and able to study in peace.
