Suddenly, a change came. It was the usual 40-ish day in the afternoon and the wind started to pick up. The temperature dropped from 40-ish to 24~26, and clouds covered the sky like a giant veil, shielding us from the heat of the sun. Then it rained, and stopped, and rained again, and stopped again; this sequence was repeated for 2 weeks. For 2 weeks we didn't see the sun. lol talk about a 180 degree turnaround. The temp remained around 20-ish and damn it's cold. It was like we all hoped for some clouds to block out the sun for a day or so and the wishes all got stacked up and came true together, and blocked it for 2 weeks.
That 2 weeks felt like house arrest, since we don't need to go to school cuz flying is impossible for this kind of weather. Seen "Disturbia"? Yeah, that's basically us this 2 weeks. Other than hardcore studying my CPL papers, we also found some time to screw around with a new found "Devil's Stake" during that 2 weeks. That's me with it, posing for the cam lol
*Stop watching porn and study or face the devine punishment!!* Yeah, it got so bored we had fun from doing stupid things and taking pictures from it. Did I mentioned it was COLD this 2 weeks? Note the long sleeves and long pants we're wearing, it was THAT cold. What's happening to the planet?? Cold on summer?! That's just insane. We had to turn on our heater quite a few times during that week.
Other than posing and looking stupid for the camera, we found something productive to do. We kinda gathered the Malaysian students together and make a nice dinner for the night. So basically we all get together and everyone provide 1 dish for the meal, and gathered at one of our rooms to just eat, chill and chat. It was nice once in a while to all get together, just sit down and talk about anything (but mostly bitching and moaning about how suck the school is and the shit we're getting from our instructors), have a couple of beers and some nice food. One thing about beers, it still sucked; and after that day of uber hang over from the whiskey shots, my body kinda rejects the smell of whiskey since then, so no more alcohol for me =/ The dinner got well and now it became a weekly routine for us to make dinner and gather around on every friday night.
And here are some pics from the boring week:
Twin yolk egg, lucky sign?
Basa fillet, grilled with butter, lemon juice, soy sauce, wine vinegar, pepper, chives.
(Basically we just put everything in which we could get our hands on)
Feud between chefs? lol
And they made up with a candle light dinner, how sweet.
He ain't drunk, still sober.
